My 92 year old Grandma died today. She was the mother of my father. This is a photo of them in 2005.

Crazy!
So, I'm out for a morning walk with Jess and Clara....when...unprovoked two crazy dogs attack Clara. I will spare you the truly horrifying details but to give you an idea, a German Shepard latched onto her neck and was shaking her like a rag doll. Clara was screaming like a child who had broken their leg. Meanwhile the other dog was biting her on the behind. It didn't look too bad at first, but I knew there was some damage. Once we got to the vet and she got shaved and cleaned up the wounds were more visable./
But she was such a trooper.
A little ice to keep the swelling down and my "good fortune" T-shirt, Clara is recovering comfortably.
Also, I got a small bite on the hand.

Collabo Results
Thanks Jason! I know I'm not the best model to work with. It's stressful being on the other side of the lens.
80 Year Old Man Hands
Because, as one of my doctors so eloquently put it, I have "80 Year Old Man Hands". I have been fitted with these fancy new arm braces and scheduled for surgery on my thumb. More bad news today...need a root canal on my front left tooth, injured in High School when I knocked it out and bit off a piece of my lip.

Photos Shoots Galore
Seems like my whole life is photo shoots of one kind or another. I'm not complaining...
Today Jason photographed me in a collaborative effort to get a "Author's photo" for my 2009 Calendar. Results coming soon.
Thanks J!
