so, I'm going to pretend that this place used to be painted all one color, it was bright yellow and only had one front door. Then one day they put a signpost across the street, the signpost angered the family that lived there and they fought and fought about it day and night until finally they had to divorce. They split the house in half. Father and daughter moved into the stageleft half and painted it brown. Mother and son stayed in the other half and painted it red and white. Son and daughter are all grown up now, but mother and father are still there. They've built a secret doorway in the basement for an occasional secret rendezvous. Hoping son and daughter won't find out. They'd be furious.
