a long time ago. If David becomes a published author, his father, John Witte, will shave his beard.....a beard he has had since just after this senior portrait was taken.

Wow this picture must be about 15 years old. Look at that full lush red beard on the old man. Not a touch of gray. You all may recognize those sexy glasses he's wearing; that's because they're the same ones he is still wearing. Lucky for dad everything comes back into fashion every 20 years. This picture is actually taken a few months after Amy's high school graduation. She just liked to throw that thing on to taunt me. How come I never gotta a gown when I got my GED? This picture was taken before I started smoking. As you can tell, again, I look like I am about to cry. David PS Mom looks like the same angel she is today.
