Here is Jay, alive and well. Obviously, another neighborhood Jason is not so lucky.
As you can see my blog is all over the place, sort of like my life right now. I have tons of different projects in the fire and hope to reach some closure (or at least the next level) with a few of them soon....

This tag was likely for Jason Vasquez, an Illinois National Guardsman who was killed in Afghanistan Sept. 17.
I remember him growing up in the neighborhood. They recently named the Logandale Middle School gym after/to honor him.
