Cut & Paste

Hello,
I just attended your Chicago show and I have some feedback for you. First off, Chicago is always a tough crowd. Instead of trying to win them over the two (annoying and very hard to understand) announcers were acting like they were annoyed with the crowd and were giving them a hard time. All those people paid $20(way too much) to see the show and they aren't just gonna cheer for two douchebags wearing sunglasses and rambling on and on over a bad sound system. (Are other cities different?) The long bios and introduction of every single person on stage (mostly unknown judges) seemed like a long private circle jerk. Long bios exist in your program and a Price is Right intro would have suited the crowd...."Jim Joe from Toronto is a senior motions designer and author...Come on down." I guess I could go on and on but you get the idea. Private parties on stage don't win over crowds in this town and $20 tix won't have em coming back.

thanks,
missy

Good job Francis!

Couldn't agree more! I should have made a button that said "Creative Director" I am fully convinced now that the least creative person in all of the design world is the advertising creative director! 9 years, this client that client, who cares, F your life!

Right on sister! Um, how about the rip-off $5 Miller cans? I really think my $20 paid for a case of those.
