This was made by Gio Ponti (Italy) in 1951. It recently sold at auction at WRIGHT for $28,000.

If I ever stop living hand to mouth and maybe even have some real money - I will posses this little beauty (she is only 11 inches tall). But I'm not holding my breath. I am just happy to have seen her in person and held it in my hands.

So I went to see the well oiled machine that is the SLACKERS at Reggies the other day, and it was awesome! The punks came ready to rock. The Slackers delivered a 2+hour set with two encores. Amazing. Last time I saw them was at the Metro in '99. Damn, I'm getting old.
