Last Snowy Sunday (hopefully)

Above is a picture of Clara and my newest Craigslist find - an Eames (esque) Terrarium! Not sure if I'm gonna put an animal in there (a turtle perhaps) or some plants.
Well, this is what it looks like 2 days before the beginning of April....does winter in the Chi ever end???
Below is a shot from Jessica's wonderful dinner party last night. Many, many bottle of wine were drunk, and we observed Earth Hour for 5 hours! You're welcome, we made up for all you non-eco freaks.

Warehouse Tour

End of Day 2 South Holland, The Netherlands.
We make it to the Art Broker Design Warehouse where we crash for the next three days. Joop Schot, the master mind behind Art Broker Design sets us up in the back room with beds and some pretty sweet stuffed dogs


My sister offered to make up the beds. B/c she is always cold and I am always hot, she gave herself the best bedding. Thankfully Joop came to my aid with a sleeping bag.
Did I mention that there are sweet stuffed dogs?

Working at WRIGHT

Sawdust flies as Harry, Martino's assistant, works on a chair. Pieces were put on the floor (and web) and sold on the spot.

I got laid off!

This is a photo of the parking lot entrance for WRIGHT. We had set up some old chairs and tables to eat lunch outside. Martino Gamper was there making furniture in our truck bay from our "trash".
