Some Things Never Change

My parents pose with my oldest cousin, David, in front of my mom's parent's home in Fort Atkinson, WI, in 1972. My dad can be seen holding milk and cookies. Which, for those of you that know my dad, is a brilliant detail into the man. Also, please note the sweet plaid pants that my mom has on.

Never Before Seen...

pictures of my parents wedding! Below, my parents, walk out of my mom's family church in Wisconsin. May 26th 1973.
My mom says she didn't have time to change out of her dress for the casual reception at her parents house.

Beauty, War and Gymnastics

"Jerry and me at Senior Prom Valley College - he was killed in Viet Nam"

As some of you may know I was a gymnast as a kid. Recently, Wendy, the owner of my childhood gym joined facebook. While checking out her profile I got a window into her secret life. Well, not so much secret, just not known to the hundreds of boys and girls who trained at her gym.
She was a a very fabulous and beautiful model! The above image and caption are from a collection of her images titled "the Men in My Life".
This timeless image of her and her one-line caption are heartbreaking.

Thanks Wendy!

I believe in reincarnation and the photo below is a mock-up of some imagery I am working with relating to that.

8th Grade Graduation - 1929

This is LaVerne, my dad's mother, in her 8th grade graduation portrait. She is 12 or 13. I still don't look like this much of a lady and when I think about what I looked like in 8th grade....well, I'll try to find a photo for you. But they are all embarrassing.

Collabo Results

Thanks Jason! I know I'm not the best model to work with. It's stressful being on the other side of the lens.

My Sister Poses for Her Calendar Page

Thanks for carrying the ladder - but all my models have to do that sort of stuff, it's not b/c we're sisters.
